TeacherHero compared with the tools teachers actually shortlist

Most AI tools for teachers are libraries of single-task generators: you open a tool, describe one thing, and take the output. TeacherHero holds a course, unit, week and lesson as one structure and sends all of it into every generation. These pages say where that helps, and where it does not.

Every comparison here names what the other product does better, with a “Choose them if…” section that is meant to route some readers away. That is not modesty. A comparison written by a vendor is worth reading only to the extent it can be checked, so every price is linked to the page on the company’s own site it was read from and dated, and any capability we could not verify is marked Not stated rather than scored against them.

None of these companies had any part in writing this. If something here is wrong or has gone out of date, it is a mistake rather than a position, and the dates on each page tell you how old the reading is.

Comparing against ChatGPT or a template pack instead? That is a different question with a different answer — what a chatbot, a set of templates, and a curriculum-aware planner each actually do. Read that one instead.

Everything stated here reflects what each company publishes about its own product on the pages cited above, on the dates shown; features and pricing change, so check their site before deciding.
